Center for Arts & History opens new student space, The Gallery Nook

LEWISTON, Idaho — Warriors will have a new space to connect, be creative, and build community with the opening of The Gallery Nook at the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History.

CAH will celebrate the grand opening of The Gallery Nook from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Center, located at 415 Main St. in downtown Lewiston. The LC State community and the public are invited.

“The Gallery Nook is a space created with LC State students in mind,” said Kristi Brown McPherson, director of the Center for Arts & History. “We’re excited to welcome students and their families to celebrate its opening and discover a new space for connection, creativity, and community.”

The grand opening will give LC State students and their families the opportunity to explore the lounge while learning more about CAH, its exhibits, and the opportunities available to the LC State community. Attendees can participate in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win prizes.

The new lounge adds another gathering space for LC State students within CAH and creates an opportunity for the LC State community to engage with the Center beyond its exhibitions and programming.
