Rob Levine Law will give away 1,000 free backpacks with school supplies at Family Fun Day on Aug. 22 at India Point Park, with games, music, food, and fun.
The free event will help Rhode Island students start the school year prepared while giving families a day of activities, entertainment, and community support. Each backpack will be stocked with essential supplies, including pencils, notebooks, and binders, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
In addition to the backpack giveaway, families and kids attending the Family Fun Day can enjoy a full day of free activities, including:
-Face painting
-Carnival games
-Live music from a DJ
-Clowns and balloon animals
Additional giveaways and surprises throughout the day
